DSPeaker Anti-Mode X4

The Anti-Mode X4 is a reference-class preamplifier, DAC, headphone amplifier, and room corrector designed for demanding stereo systems. It is based on the latest Anti-Mode 3.0 platform and combines advanced digital signal processing with high-quality audio electronics, offering exceptionally accurate, natural, and controlled reproduction. The improvement in sound quality is practically immediate and, in many systems, truly astonishing. The device also functions excellently as an expansion for a home theater amplifier for main channels and and subwoofers.

The system measures the main speakers and up to four subwoofers (0.4 configuration) and performs digital correction for frequency response, phase, and timing. The patented distortion-minimizing digital crossover and full-band calibration ensure seamless integration and an extended, precisely controlled bass region.

Connectivity options are extensive: up to ten digital and analog inputs, balanced XLR and RCA input and output, multiple S/PDIF connections, and separate main and auxiliary outputs for speakers and subwoofers. Three separate high-end D/A converters serve the main, auxiliary, and headphone outputs, achieving a dynamic range of 126 dB and less than 0.0008% total harmonic distortion. An internal headphone amplifier and optional DSP headphone simulation further expand usage possibilities.

Operation is clear and intuitive: the graphical user interface displays frequency response curves in full resolution, and real-time tone controls and customizable filters allow for fine-tuning the sound from the listening position. Multiple user profiles can be saved and recalled instantly. Calibration is fully automatic and does not require a computer or network connection – just measure and listen to perfectly balanced sound.
