ANTI-MODE X2

To update the firmware:
Prepare a USB memory stick (formatted to FAT32 file system).
Download firmware zip-file below.
Extract the firmware to your folder. The correct image file is named “FIRMWARE.X2”
Copy the image file to the USB stick.
Plug the USB stick into the USB-A port of the X2.
Power off the device using the remote controller, and power it on again
After a few seconds, firmware update starts and the screen display “WAIT”.
The update process takes less than a minute. After the process remember to detach the memory stick.
ANTI-MODE X4

Implements balance control for headphone, otherwise the same as 20210512.
20210512-standby
Fixes to standby mode, otherwise the same as 20210511. With low backup battery voltage, X4 may have either not waken up from standby or woke up randomly even without receiving a remote or control wheel command.
20250912-x4-spdif96k-standby
“12-Sep+25” Experimental version where SPDIF output rate is always 96kHz. This should help if you use an external DAC that has trouble with a changing sample rate. Also a few changes to spdif input (if you have issues, revert to a non-experimental version) and a more stable standby mode.
20210511Alpha
A version for the latest DSPeaker BT Remote (Android, iOS). Long press of control wheel engages Mute (after a while in Mute enters stand-by mode). Small change to SPDIF bit-depth reporting.

SHAKEQ

Having also an Expander allows better matching the signal dynamics to your specific shaker. Gate can remove unwanted low-level signals. You can turn on “auto-off” — after 20 minutes without a signal ShakEQ switches to power-save mode and wakes up again when receiving signal again. The normal standby is unaffected.
To update the firmware:

Copy the image file to the USB stick.
Plug the USB stick into the USB-A port of the ShakEQ.
Power off ShakEQ and power it on again (preferably using standby mode or using power-plug if your current firmware doesn’t have that).
After a few seconds, firmware update starts and the screen display “WAIT”.
The update process takes less than a minute. After the process remember to detach the memory stick.

Windows USB Audio 2.0 Driver for Anti-Mode X4
Anti-Mode X4 supports both USB Audio Class 1 and Class 2 modes.
Windows 11 (and recent Windows 10 versions) include native USB Audio 2.0 support, so no driver installation is required, the unit works plug-and-play.
For Windows 7–10 users, download and install the DSPeaker USB Audio 2.0 driver (HERE) to enable full-resolution playback and ASIO compatibility.
The legacy USB Audio 1.0 mode is a compatible fallback that operates without a driver, limited to 24-bit / 96 kHz, intended for older systems or basic plug-and-play use.
ShakEQ BEQ Catalog Exporter
BEQ Catalog Exporter is a tool (web page) that converts Bass EQ data from the BEQ Catalog into compatible filter files for DSPeaker ShakEQ, allowing ready-made BEQ corrections to be imported directly.
